CPI Construction requested an analysis be performed to provide a solution for excessive transformer noise affecting nearby office spaces. The offices were located below the transformer deck.

Measurements were taken at the location to determine the existing STC rating of the deck assembly. The measurements were analyzed to determine what frequencies were most prominent.

Countermeasures were developed based on the measurements which targeted the impinging noise frequency. The results and recommendations were prepared in a report for the client, including drawings and datasheets for new constructions and modifications.
