Classroom and Office Acoustics
rEDUCE NOISE & IMPROVE INTELLIGIBILITY
In today’s office environment, the open floor plan is becoming more and more popular. While this new design lends to a more cohesive work environment, it often causes a myriad of undesirable acoustic problems. RNS Acoustics will work closely with you to create a sonic space that is as pleasing aurally as it is aesthetically.
Reverberation control
The treatment of conference rooms/classrooms to ensure maximum auditory functionality is one of our most common projects, and we will work with your in house designer to develop solutions that fit with your intended aesthetic. RNS Acoustics provides a thorough report detailing what types of treatments are to be used and where, along with 3D renderings so you will be able to see what the treatments actually look like in your space before installation. The report will also include detailed installation instruction for your contractor, and we will be there every step of the way to assist with any questions that may arise.
office crosstalk reduction
Sometimes office spaces, particularly converted office spaces, are not properly acoustically isolated. Meetings held in adjacent conference rooms, or even just next-door offices, can result in unwanted noise or accidental eavesdropping in an adjacent office. RNS Acoustics can help develop mitigation solutions ranging from better acoustic isolation to the implementation of sound masking systems.
