Intense Lighting requested that an acoustic assessment be performed to ensure that noise levels generated by electric saws do not affect nearby office suites. The client was also concerned with the noise the saws generated in the facility.

Sound measurements were taken of the power tools during regular use and analyzed. The expected noise in the adjacent offices was predicted using the measurements along with acoustical modeling of the demising walls. Countermeasures for the noise in the facility were also developed. The results and recommendations were provided to the client in a comprehensive report.
